How we got sTARTED?

When Jeremiah & I got engaged and started planning our wedding in 2018, the search for the right photographer & videographer was a grueling task. Throughout the process I kept thinking, “If only Jeremiah & En could capture our wedding, “ because of the exuberant hoard of camera gear the two have ACCUMULATED in my basement over the years. But at the time the idea was totally unfeasible be as one is the groom & the other the best man; however, the light bulb went off & Til Death Media was born! Fast forward to may 2020 when the Global pandemic was in full swing, I ultimately got my wish with the boys capturing our first ever micro-wedding in our backyard.

How we got our name?

We definitely were going in circles when trying to choose the name for our company. We could not take the simple route most people take with their name + photography because our company name would definitely become a hot mess real quick. WHile brainstorming, The name “Til Death Media” came up in conversation as sort of as a joke and gave everyone a good laugh, but we couldn’t stop thinking about it. we did have some doubts about having the word “death” in our name and being within the wedding industry, and even might scare couples away. but we ultimately decided that if its good enough to be in practically everyone’s wedding vows, then it’s good enough for us!

On the Road

The summers of 2016 & 2017 we went on the trips of a life time! We took a MEGA road trips around the entire United States visiting just about every national & state park. En focused on capturing America’s beauty with landscape photography (Portfolio: EN America), and Jeremiah was a one man film crew documenting the whole experience. I was assigned “mobile” kitchen duty to make sure the boys stayed well fed.

3 adults living in 1 vehicle with an exuberant amount of camera & camping equipment had both its rewarding and trying times. For En & Jeremiah, they had been best mates throughout college, and Jeremiah & I were a couple still in the early stages our relationship. Now, pack us all into one car spending 24 hours a day with each other, it was only a matter of time before we were on each others nerves!

Don’t get me wrong, it ended up bringing us closer together. There is nothing like being stranded in a Louisiana swamp, popping your tire while being towed out, and forcing you to spend the night in a Walmart parking lot covered in mud waiting for the auto shop to open next AM! Being my thrifty self, I created a “shower” out of a gallon of water and had abundant access to resources to cook the best meal of the entire trip!

Needless to say, we’ve made it through thick and thin establishing a lifelong bond, and has allowed us to pretty much handle any mishap that is thrown our way. If you are not familiar with the wedding industry, something is always bound to come up with every wedding. With us constantly having to battle nature’s & each other’s elements, has given us the ability to think quickly and adapt fluidly as one united team!
